Before commercial launch, the compensation model, membership fees, referral structure, digital-asset payment flow and any earnings representations must be reviewed by qualified legal, tax and regulatory professionals for every jurisdiction in which the academy will operate. Particular attention is required where compensation is generated by enrolment and package purchases rather than by sales of training to non-participants, and where participant funds are received in digital assets. Several jurisdictions – including India, under the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act 1978 and the Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules 2021 – restrict or prohibit such structures.
